We believe in honoring the earth that gives us so much. That’s why we focus on sustainable farming practices, nurturing our vineyards with care and respect. Our vineyard is nestled in the Willow Creek AVA is home to Rhône varietals, Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, carefully chosen for their ability to express the unique terroir of Paso Robles.
Our Grape Varietals
SYRAH
The Willow Creek District in Paso Robles is a prime growing region for Syrah. Wines from this area often exhibit a distinctive character, marked by intense fruit flavors, firm tannins, and a complex aromatic profile. You might encounter notes of dark cherry, plum, and blackberry, along with spicy nuances of black pepper and clove. The cooler nights in Willow Creek contribute to the wines’ elegant structure and balanced acidity.
GRENACHE
Grenache, when grown in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles, produces wines that are elegant and aromatic. These wines often showcase bright, red fruit flavors such as raspberry and cranberry, with hints of spice and floral notes. The cooler nights in the region help to preserve the wine’s delicate acidity, resulting in a balanced and refreshing wine.
MOURVEDRE
When grown in the Willow Creek District, Mourvèdre produces wines that are rich, full-bodied, and age-worthy. These wines often exhibit dark fruit flavors like blackberry and plum, along with savory notes of leather, tobacco, and garrigue. The high tannin structure of Mourvèdre contributes to the wine’s longevity, allowing it to develop complex flavors over time.
